2018 HSA & HDHP Limits Announced

On May 4, 2017, the IRS released Revenue Procedure 2017-37 revealing dollar limits for High Deductible Health Plans (HDHP) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) for 2018.

For the 2018 calendar year, individuals enrolled in a HDHP with self-only coverage may contribute $3,450 to their HSA, while those with family coverage may contribute $6,900 to their HSA.

HDHP Limits For 2018

For the 2018 calendar year, HDHPs may not have an annual deductible of less than $1,350 for single coverage or $2,700 for family coverage. Likewise, the annual out-of-pocket expenses for the 2018 calendar year for HDHPs cannot exceed $6,650 for self-only coverage or $13,300 for family coverage.
