This type of insurance coverage is designed for specific classes of property of concentrated high value that are, generally, subject to risks associated with movement and transportation as well as theft and causes of loss to which most business personal property is vulnerable.
For the most part, the various types of "inland marine" coverage insure against "risks of direct physical loss" except as specifically excluded on the "all risks" basis of coverage. Numerous types may be included in package policies, while others are usually written separately.
