Claims Services

We are one of the few agencies in the state that have a dedicated claims staff. Our claims services benefit all Gibson clients. We are your personal advocate who work in your best interest to provide enhanced communication and timely resolution to your claim.

Our specific claims services include:

  • 24-hour emergency claim services
  • Take initial loss report and document in Gibson database
  • Initiate activity, occurrence reports, and report it to your carrier and process necessary reports
  • Verify claims are handled by an appropriate adjuster
  • Monitor adjusters activity to confirm claim resolution is in your best interest and done in a timely fashion
  • Work as your advocate to resolve problems that may arise during claim process
  • Obtain and distribute loss runs as frequently as requested
  • Complete proof of insurance forms
  • Pay first-party claims
  • Facilitate claim process with other carrier or negligent party in incidents where you’re not at fault
  • Conduct coverage reviews when warranted
  • Submit non-workers’ compensation claims to the carrier of your behalf
  • Provide detailed workers’ compensation claims reporting instructions and distribute to all insured locations
  • Referral to glass networks for minor glass claims
  • Monitor open claims with an incurred value of $50,000 or higher
  • Provide OSHA 300 record logs
