The generational differences present a unique challenge for employers, especially when it comes to values and preferred communication styles.

Organizations are beginning to customize their employee rewards programs to accommodate the values, lifestyles, work habits, and interests of a multigenerational workforce. According to a Top Five Total Rewards Priorities survey by Deloitte LLP and the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialist, nearly a third (32%) of HR professionals plan to alter company rewards programs with generational preferences in mind.
